Delete Your Scorer Account and Data

App: Scorer (com.creation.scorer) · Developer: Anikesh Pathak, individual developer, Punjab, India

This page explains how to request deletion of your Scorer account and the data associated with it. Scorer is a basketball scorekeeping app. Most of your data lives on your own device, and a backup copy of your finished games is stored in the cloud.

Account and cloud data deletion is handled by our support team on request. There is no self-service delete button inside the app — you request deletion by contacting us using the steps below, and we action it for you.

How to request deletion

  1. Email scorer.review@gmail.com from the same email address you use to sign in to Scorer. This is how we verify the request is really yours.
  2. Use the subject line: Scorer - Account Deletion Request.
  3. Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted, or only your cloud-stored game data deleted while keeping the account.

We acknowledge every request within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying it. In practice most requests are done far sooner. There is no charge, and you do not need an active subscription or a working install to make a request.

Removing data from your own device

Separately from the request above, you can clear Scorer's local data yourself at any time. Uninstalling the app, or going to Android Settings → Apps → Scorer → Storage → Clear data, permanently erases every game, player, score and reminder held on that phone. This cannot be undone.

Signing out stops any further cloud backup, but it does not erase a backup that has already been made. To remove that, use the email request above.

What gets deleted

DataWhat it isOutcome
Account profile Your Google account identifier, email address, display name, profile photo URL, and your account creation and last sign-in timestamps. Deleted permanently
Cloud game backups Your finished games: team names, scores, game format and settings, fouls, timeouts, and per-player statistics (name, points, three-pointers, two-pointers, free throws, fouls and notes). Deleted permanently
On-device data The same game and player records held in the app's local database on your phone. Removed by uninstalling or clearing app data

What is retained, and for how long

Deletion is permanent. Once your cloud backup is deleted, your game history cannot be restored when you sign in on a new device. Please export or note down anything you want to keep before requesting deletion.
